the big Buddha is powerful to see! Massive and bright white. It is quite a lot of stairs to climb though, which could be tough for an elderly or disable person. The view is fantastic from the top of the mountain! You should definitely visit!

I book a jeep tour with Johnny Tours for me and my family. we also visit the Phanthiet market and the Dragon Fruit farm. a very nice trip.

 You can get close to nature, enjoy some meditation time under the giant reclining Buddha, and enjoy the nice scenery on the cable car. Good for young kids also as I brought my 2 year old, and its a good exercise and experience for her! The driver was friendly and the tour guide was nice and can answer all my questions. Lovey trip!

You will get at the top of the mountain by a cable car which is very comfortable. The heat in Vietnam means you will sweat with each step you take so the cable car is huge help. :) The Buddha statue is overwhelming - we were amazed :)

From my hotel it takes almost one hour to reach the place but it is worth to go. The driver came in time with tour guide. A nice area, local restaurants with great food, a modern cable car brings you up where "some" more steps awaiting you until you reach the lying Buddha. We enjoyed this half-day trip a lot.

I had a chance to visit this place with Johnny Tours company. Our trip for 2 days in Mui Ne. We visit Ta Cu mountain which is very nice to see and explore. After the cable car you can visit the biggest statue of buddha. It is one of the good place to see when you are in Mui Ne or Phan Thiet. Thank you Johnny for a good tour. Must go!

Beautiful mountain for traveling in Viet Nam, when i was here, i felt so happy when saw buddha at pergola. Recommend it!

I found the Laying Buddha very beautiful and soothing. It's located in the forest which is beautiful. The light through the trees, the singing birds made me sit there a while. And wish i could have stayed longer! But the view down to the level country was nice too! I can only recommend to go there. It's a relief from all the motorbikes and the honking in the cities and the streets. Be aware that the last cable car back is already at 5 pm! I don't know if there is an other way to get back to the starting point. Plan enough time that u can enjoy this beautiful atmosphere long enough!

We walked up the mountain and it was a great experience, it took us one hour and twenty minutes to reach the restaurant at the top. There is so much to see at the top, and everything is very beautiful.

The cable car up the mountain was really smooth and the views were great. At the top you have some stairs to climb. There are points at which to stop and take in the view. There are toilets but be prepared as they are not what we are used to in the UK. At the top of the stairs you follow a path to the seated Buddha and then a few stairs up you see the amazing white reclining Buddha. I strongly suggest going early in the morning not only as there are less people but also because of the heat. A beautiful sight to see high in the mountains. Recommended.

We visited in early October on a Thursday and it was empty. Lovely well kept area but we were told to not bother to climb as the route was covered in rubbish and not a nice climb. So take the cable car and enjoy the views. Once up there there are monuments to view and a huge reclining Buddha. Nice visit and worth doing on a hot day as it’s just nice and cool at the top and very tranquil.

We visited Ta cu on a Friday around noon. The place was very quiet and we really enjoyed the trip. This was one of the most beautiful places we visited in Southern Vietnam. Don't miss the "old temple" which you find when you turn right from the path to the sleeping buddha.

Do not miss it... Are you going to Mui Ne? Do not leave the place without taking a tour or two. Experience the sand dunes, spectacular driving with ATV and visit the local fishing village. Or a trip to "Ta Cu Mountain" to see the biggest reclining Buddha in Vietnam (among other things to see during the trip). These were two tours we ordered from Johnny during our stay in Mui Ne. Phan Thiet half day tour We booked this trip close to our hotel Terracotta Resort &Spa. The staff was helpful and friendly. The pick up point was our hotel. We had a really nice and clever guide, visited Phan Thiet harbor, a dragon fruit farm, the whale museum, Cham tower and the lying Buddha. The guide told us so much, both about the subjects we went to see, but also about the society and the daily life in Vietnam.

Opportunity to get out of Mui Ne. A very enjoyable trip with a lovely sincere guide, Sandy. Staying in Mui Ne it was nice to see a little bit of Phan Thiet, life and history. Sandy painted great pictures of how Vietnam and it’s people have managed to get where they are today despite so many obstacles and the hand of oppressive nations never far away. It was very hot when we went but Sandy managed the pace of the climbs and provided plenty of Walter. Would recommend as a way of seeing more of the local area, there were only four of us on our trip, so you get the personal experience.

Ta Cu Mountain Phan Thiet Tour !! Sandi was our tour guide. Very knowledgable. Learned about the beginnings of the Vietnamese people to the current state. We went to the Cham Temples, Whale Museum, Ta Cu Mtn and finally a dragon fruit farm. Was a very informative tour and Johnny speaks great English. Would recommend this tour to everyone!
